Beef and ale
The shin beef in our beef and ale pies comes from Riverside Beef whose herds graze along the river banks around Ely in Cambridgeshire. We slow cook the meat in strong brown ale to create a silky rich sauce with large melt in the mouth chunks of beef.
Ingredients
Beef, celery, carrots, onions, garlic, tomato puree, flour, strong brown ale, beef stock, bay leaves, thyme, sunflower oil, salt and pepper.
